Our history
Creta Luxury Cruises was founded in the 1990s by Captain Spiros Stamatakis as a family business, with a vision to provide ultimate yachting experiences in Crete.
The reins of the company were passed down to Captain Stamatakis’ son, George Stamatakis, who is currently one of the two owners. He shared his father’s dedication to delivering exceptional service on the water. Under George’s leadership, we continued to evolve to meet the ever-changing needs of our valued guests.
In a landmark move in 2018, George Stamatakis forged a partnership with Christos Siafakas, a respected owner of yachts with a wealth of experience in the industry. This strategic move not only brought additional vessels to our fleet but also infused Creta Luxury Cruises with a fresh perspective and innovative ideas, shaping the company into the dynamic and successful enterprise it is today.
